Your shoes, car, and house may have been wet recently, but the roots of young trees probably need some water, especially since the weather has been a bit warmer.
Young trees just don’t have the root resources to get enough water the way that established trees can and we have not had enough rain to get water down to their roots.
Water is the single most critical factor for survival of newly planted urban trees.
Thanks for supporting the urban canopy.
You’ll be glad you did!
